Nature of the service

This is an independent reference site. It does not maintain official custody, booking, court, or corrections records, and it cannot confirm a person’s custody status, release a person, or submit documents for a visitor.

The site identifies official Wilson County and Tennessee resources, along with independently operated research tools. A public-office response, not this site, is the source for confirmation of a record or status.

Acceptable use

• Use the site only in a lawful manner.
• Do not use information obtained here to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use the content to make a hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or similar screening decision.
• Do not attempt to access a protected system, account, or data without authorization.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to collect site content without written permission.
• Do not interfere with the site’s operation or another visitor’s use of it.

Fair Credit Reporting Act restriction

Wilson County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use any information from the site or a linked tool for a purpose regulated by the FCRA, including the following.

• A decision to hire, fire, promote, or otherwise evaluate a worker
• A tenant, rental, or housing-screening decision
• A creditworthiness decision or insurance-pricing decision
• A licensing, permit, or government-program eligibility decision
• Any other use covered by the FCRA

External resources

Links may lead to WCSO jail tools, booking windows, Sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, court resources, legal-aid information, or independent search services. Each external provider controls its own content, privacy practices, availability, and terms. A link is not an endorsement or guarantee of that provider.

Requests to a Tennessee public office may be governed by the Tennessee Public Records Act, T.C.A. §§10-7-501 et seq. Wilson County’s public-records policy states that the Sheriff’s Department has a separate policy, so county guidance does not establish WCSO procedures or fees.

Service provided without warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that it will provide any of the following:

• Accurate, complete, or current information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• An error-free, bug-free, or security-vulnerability-free service
• Complete or accurate results from a partner tool

Public records and custody status can change without notice. Nothing here is an official statement by WCSO, a court, a jail, or another government agency.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wilson County Busted Mugshots and its operators will not be liable for damages, losses, claims, or costs arising from access to or use of the site or a linked resource.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wilson County Busted Mugshots and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of site materials

The site’s text, graphics, logos, layout, and code are owned by Wilson County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from them without written permission, except where law permits otherwise.

Updates to these terms

These terms may be changed at any time. The updated terms become effective when they are posted on this page.

Access restrictions

Access to all or part of the site may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute relating to them must be filed in a court within Tennessee, subject to applicable law.

Severability

If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as far as necessary to make it enforceable where possible.
